Where do the New York Giants Play
Since 2010 the New York Giants have played at the MetLife Stadium, formerly known as the New Meadowlands Stadium. This stadium is located in East Rutherford, New Jersey and was opened in 2010 at a construction cost of $1.6 billion. MetLife Stadium has a capacity of 82,566, which gives it the largest seating capacity of any regular NFL stadium. The Giants share the stadium with the New York Jets, who also play in the NFL. It is the only stadium in the league that is shared by two teams.

Did you know?
Apart from NFL games the stadium has also hosted concerts and international soccer matches. In 2014 it is scheduled to host Super Bowl XLVIII.

Where do the Minnesota Twins play?
Since 2010 the Twins have played their home games at Target Field. This baseball park is located in downtown Minneapolis and cost about $545 million to build. It has a seating capacity of 39,504, but this can be expanded by just over 2,500 with standing room tickets. The record attendance for a Twins game is 42,035. Target Field is also used by the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, who played the first game at the ballpark in 2010.

The Twins have played at 6 stadiums since their founding, including 3 since they moved to Minnesota. Their first stadium in Minnesota was Metropolitan Stadium, which they shared with the Minnesota Vikings between 1961 and 1981. The multipurpose stadium called Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome was their next home, which they also shared with the Vikings who still use the stadium.

Where do the Philadelphia Eagles play?
The Eagles play at the Lincoln Financial Field, which is a part of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex located in South Philadelphia. This stadium was opened in 2003 after 2 years of construction at a total cost of $512 million. The stadium seats 68,532 patrons and this can be expanded to 69,144 with standing room tickets. The stadium is also used by the Temple Owls football team and by the Philadelphia Union (MLS) when they play high profile matches. It is also used for concerts, Monster Jam and many other sporting events such as the Army-Navy football game.

Since their founding the Philadelphia Eagles have had 6 different home stadiums. Their first home stadium was Baker Bowl and they soon moved to Philadelphia Municipal Stadium (John F. Kennedy Stadium). Their 3rd stadium was Connie Mack Stadium (Shibe Park) and their 4th was Franklin Field. Before moving into Lincoln Financial Field the Eagles played at Veterans Stadium.

The Dallas Stars play at the American Airlines Center, which is located in the neighborhood of Victory Park in Dallas. For hockey games the arena seats 18,532 people, which can be increased with standing room tickets. Prior to 2001 the Dallas Stars played at the Reunion Arena, which seated 17,001 people for hockey games. This arena was demolished in 2009.

Where do Lemurs come from?
Lemurs are only found on the island of Madagascar. This island lies off the southeastern coast of Africa and has a wide range of habitats. Madagascar is also subject to seasonal climatic variations, which the lemurs have adapted to cope with. Before humans came to the island about 1500-2000 years ago the various species of lemurs could be found throughout the island. However, human settlement, poaching and land clearing has reduced the habitat of the lemur to about 10% of the island. Today, most of the 100 species of lemur are considered to be a threatened or endangered species and at least 17 species are recently extinct. Madagascar now has many national parks, including several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, to protect the remaining spices of lemur from extinction. Unfortunately, illegal logging and poaching still exists in these areas.
