They have shaggy fur, stubby tails and a distinct type of curved claws. Sloths are related to armadillos and anteaters, which all have a similar type of claws. There are 6 living species of sloth and these are further classified into two or three toed sloths. Most of the species inhabit a similar region and habitat. Raccoons, sometimes simply called coons, are a mammal of approximately 3-9 kg (6.5-20 lbs) in weight and 40-70 cm (16-28 in) in length. Their most distinctive feature of a raccoon is the dark fur around the eyes, contrasted by the white color of the face; which appears to look like a bandit’s mask. They are nocturnal animals, which means that they are more active during the night. The raccoon is a omnivore (eats plants and animals) and will eat almost any food that is available. There are 6 species of quoll and these range in size from very small 300g (11 oz) to the largest size of 7kg (15 lb). They have black or brown fur with irregular shaped white spots and a distinctive pink nose. They do not live for very long, between 2-5 years, and the population of the species is threatened by a variety of factors.
