    Ms G

As I stated above this list only contains feature films starring Denzel Washington. Hard Lessons (also called The George McKenna Story) was a television movie- not released at cinemas. Therefore it is not part of the list.

My son, Jeremiah is trying to complete a project on Mr. Washington. When he came home from school today he began to ask me questions about Mr. Washington. Although, I could answer some of Jeremiah’s questions, I could not answer all of them. Then it dawned on me that I have a computer and could google him. So, here we are on this website. Jeremiah has now answered all of his questions and hopefully gets extra credit. With all the time and efford I have also put into the project I want some extra too (L.O.L.). On a more serious note I have followed Mr. Washington’s career for a number of years. He is no doubt one of the best actor’s out there, not just because of the roles he chooses to perform but because of the type of man he has grown to be. In closing, Thank You, Mr. Washington from Evelina Short & Jeremiah Harvey of Cheraw, South Carolina.

  • 28. Cris McNally  |  April 19th, 2010 at 10:02 pm

Wow !! What can I say about this actor ??
I started watching Denzel’s films some years ago, and I just can’t stop appreciating his work anymore. It doesn’t matter if he plays big or small roles, all his films , I believe, is worth watching because we can see how he has changed and got better and better, so now ,there is no word to describe the actor he has become. I intend to buy all his films at some point. From my collection ,the ones I absolutely adore are “The Hurricane” and “Remember the Titans”. But I love them all really. Denzel, congratulations, and I hope that the kind of man you are keeps on being transparent in your work .

I first saw Denzel in A Soldier’s Story (1984). He was excellent. Then in Glory (1989), Denzel was superb. He should have won an Oscar. He has an excellent body of work. I’m so glad that Denzel is playing more risky roles now. I think the best is yet to come.

  • 30. Carin  |  May 2nd, 2010 at 7:27 pm

One of the greatest actors of all time who had to wait too long for an Oscar. Puts 100% in whatever role he is playing and has stayed grounded with a good supportive wife and children. My favourite films are “The Hurricane”. “American Ganster” and “Antwone Fisher” Great acting!!!
