Dwayne Johnson is a celebrity actor who hasn’t had a traditional path into acting. He was a very promising football player until injury ended his dream of playing in the NFL. He played football in Canada for a year until he decided to take up professional wrestling. He is a very popular wrestler and has been known as “The Rock” for much of his career. In 2001 he had a brief role in “The Mummy Returns,” which led to a follow up lead role in “The Scorpion King.” More acting roles followed and he is now in high demand as an actor.
