Easy Christmas Cookie Recipe

Here is a nice and simple Christmas cookie recipe that will please the whole family. These are no-bake cookies!
Serves: 4-5 people (depending on how many cookies you eat!)
Difficulty: Easy
Preparation Time: 5-10 minutes
WARNING: Recipe contains peanuts (peanut butter). Make sure that no one eating the cookies is allergic to peanuts!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Method:
- Add the cocoa, milk, butter and sugar into a large saucepan. Mix them together well.
- Bring the saucepan to the boil.
- Boil the mixture for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the peanut butter. Stir the mixture until the peanut butter is well blended.
- Add the remaining ingredients (nuts, oats, salt and vanilla extract). Stir again.
- Put the dough into a pan (8 inch by 8 inch is big enough) and put them in the refrigerator.
- Wait until the mixture hardens and then cut it into squares (or another shape, if you are feeling adventurous).
