A couple of weeks ago I wrote about who invented the guitar and who invented the electric guitar. Today, I will list all the ways you can buy an acoustic guitar.

How to Buy an Acoustic Guitar

• Look in the classified section of your local newspaper or in guitar magazines. Also try some online classifieds, like CraigsList.
• Visit the websites of major acoustic guitar manufacturers. Not all of them sell guitars online, but you will be able to find a distributor in your local area.
• Go to your local music store. Compare the prices from all the different stores to get the best deal.
• Try online stores such as Amazon, eBay and Wigix. Read eBay’s Guitar Buyers Guide.

Now you know how to buy an acoustic guitar. Don’t forget to do as much research as you can on the different types of acoustic guitars that you would like to purchase. This will help ensure that the guitar you eventually buy suits your needs. If you are a beginner, then I would suggest buying an old guitar of a friend and learn on that before buying a more expensive acoustic guitar.
