Jim Caviezel is a celebrity actor who initially had aspirations to become an NBA star until a foot injury ended his career and turned his attention to acting. He began acting on the stage before landing his first film role in 1991. Soon after this he decided to pursue a career in Los Angeles. He landed small roles at first, but his career slowly gained momentum. In 2004 he played Jesus in the controversial film “The Passion of the Christ” and it is for this he is best remembered today.
