Joe Pesci Movie List

Joe Pesci is a celebrity actor, comedian and musician who got his big break with a starring role in the film “The Death Collector.” Although the film was a low budget movie with a limited release it got Pesci noticed. Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro were so impressed with his work in the film that they asked him to co-star in the movie “Raging Bull.” His performance was widely acclaimed and he was nominated for an Academy Award. His career gained momentum and 10 years after him first nomination he managed to win an Oscar for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He announced his retirement from acting in 1999, but has made a few cameo roles since.
