  • 2. Want to know it  |  October 23rd, 2009 at 6:44 am

I don’t know- I haven’t seen them all! Did he dance in The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3?

I am looking for a movie that John Travolta was in where he was a single parent of a 10-13 yr old girl. He may have bet on a dog fight in which a doberman was nearly killed. The dog was dumped under a bridge and left to die. His daughter found it and began to feed and help it. The dog became her friend. I think Travolta her dad said she couldn’t keep it and she ran away with the dog. Travolta than sets out in search of his daughter. The point was the dog helped both the daughter and the father discover that they mattered to one another.

    Do you recognize this?

I think the movie you are talking about is ‘Eyes of an Angel’. It was released in 1991 and stars Ellie Raab as the ‘daughter’ of John Travolta.

John Travolta chooses classy films in general with style and dignity. Wouldn’t say a bad word against him. The only one I didn’t like was “Carrie.” I try to stand up for animal rights now and again.

The Boy in the plastic Bubble is not on the list. Also I would like to get this movie on DVD. Does anyone know if it was released on DVD in Digital format. I have found it on DVD but the Quality is like VHS. Thanks for any help

  • 7. Want to know it  |  November 16th, 2009 at 7:13 am

Hi Ricky. ‘The Boy in the Plastic Bubble’ is not on the list as it was a television movie not a feature film. In my movie lists only films released at the cinemas (feature films) are listed. I’ve had a quick check and cannot find a good quality DVD. I’ve read many people complain that the quality of the DVD is very poor.

Was there ever a plan for a “Pulp Fiction” sequel???
If not , think there is a chance of this ever happening?
John was great on this film & all his others…

  • 16. Want to know it  |  January 26th, 2010 at 12:13 am

The director (Quentin Tarantino) has discussed a potential sequel and there have been rumors that a sequel is going ahead. However, nothing has been confirmed and it’s been a long time since the original. I’d say it’s not likely now.

  • 38. Want to know it  |  April 18th, 2010 at 11:55 pm

    @ Brownie

You may be thinking of the movie ‘A Civil Action’. In that movie families of children dying of leukemia sue two companies for dumping toxic waste.

  • 39. Teresa Muckelrath  |  May 3rd, 2010 at 1:51 am

I love John. He is 100% awesome. His wife is beautiful, talented and really down to earth people. I saw her on “Fear Factor”. John was there watching and supporting her. It was their best show. It really showed the kind of people they are. He has truly been blessed with his talent and his family. Their son, Jet was taken before his time. My heart goes out to them. I have been collecting all his movies, almost there!
It is so hard to pick a favorite movie. I love so many of them. I would have to choose “Urban Cowboy”.

I am looking for a title in which supposedly John Travolta had a small role, probably uncredited. It was a horror film made back in the 70’s. I’m pretty sure the title has the word “devil” in it. If anyone can help me with this, I would appreciate it. Thanks…

  • 50. Want to know it  |  August 4th, 2010 at 11:43 pm
