I could have sworn the movie was with Robin Williams. Its when he makes movies of people lives to play at their funerals. They have a chip in their heads and he takes the chip out to make the movie of their life and play it at the funerals when they die. The problem is that he has a chip in his head too. (The chip records everything he sees) and hes not allowed to have it cause he edits the peoples memories to make movies of their lives. any ideas?!?! please?

i have been a huge fan of Robin Williams since i was about four. His form of comedy shaped my sense of humor along with jim carrey. i have seen 24 of his 59 films. in my opinion he is a versatile actor and can squeeze in comedy even in a movie that is not meant to be comical. personally i disliked one hour photo just because of his part but he played it very well yet again proving his versatility. his stand up his also very good. great to see people who appreciate his work as much as i do.

hey, i am writing a psych paper for university and we have to do it on mental illness appearing in movies. i saw a movie a while ago and im almost sure it starred robin williams and i’m trying to find it for my paper. He played the part of a single father of a daughter and they moved to a new house and she made a “friend” who turned out to be the father as well because he suffered from dual personality disorder, it was kind of a creepy movie which is probably why i remember it. Anyone know the name of it?
    Thanks!

I happened to see this page by chance when i was searching for a particular movie of robin williams in which , i remember vaguely, they walk through a field of flowers which are actually paintings. That was a long time ago. But now I am pretty much sure that Robin williams is THE ACTOR. I wonder how PATCH ADAMS never finds a mention here. It is one movie that brings us to tears everytime we see it.

Anyone knows the name of the movie that I am referring to

I am looking for the title of a movie in which Robin Williams played a father/husband who was also a lecturer at university…I saw it MANY years ago…he sort of choose his family above his career, his personal values above those of society…does it ring a bell? It was screened roundabout the same time as Dead Poets Society, maybe 5 years later…

  • 25. Want to know it  |  May 28th, 2010 at 11:55 pm

  • 27. Karen  |  August 12th, 2010 at 9:49 pm

Just replying to which I think was his best role, I would have to say it’s between 3. Sy the Photo Guy (One Hour Photo), John Keating (Dead Poets Society) and Garp (The World According to Garp). He’s an incredibly versatile actor, and a lot of fun to watch when he does stand-up comedy as well.

I’m trying to find the name of a movie. All I remember is that it’s set in the future, and Robin Williams is not a very nice guy at all. He ends up on his death bed, but then his son comes to visit. Then some words are exchanged and the son leaves. Robin Williams (filled with regret) stumbles out to see his son drive away, he’s too late. Then Robin Williams falls to his knees outside in the rain (possibly) and dies. Help?
