Dr Pepper (non diet version) contains no potassium. I can't find specifics on Diet Dr Pepper. Might be best to email or call the Dr Pepper company and see if they give out that information.

I also can't find specific on Verner's Diet Ginger Ale but I have seen potassium citrate as one of the ingredients. All I can say is that it probably contains a reasonably high amount of potassium.

What is the potassium content of Diet Dr. Pepper, and Verner's Diet Ginger Ale?

Whoops! It is supposed to say 'body' function. I've fixed it now.

I know it can be very annoying when the amount of certain minerals (like potassium) is not reported. Unfortunately, companies are not required to report those amounts in many parts of the world.

Where you said "Potassium is a mineral that is vital to normal boy function. " am I to assume this doesn't apply to girls? The problem with soft drinks is that while potassium is listed in its ingredients it isn't usually listed in the "Nutrition" box so I have no idea how much is present.

Strangely, I can't find any information on how much potassium is in Diet Snapple Raspberry Tea. I went to Snapple's official website and it looks like they don't report the potassium level, although one of the ingredients is potassium citrate. I would advise you to stop drinking it and contact Snapple to see if they can give you more exact details.

From my research:

Diet-Rite Cola contains very little potassium.
Canada Dry Diet Cranberry Ginger Ale contains a high amount of potassium.

However, as I stated above, always read the labels!

I would really like to know!

Mara in Miami, with kidney issues.
