Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Camera Tips
By: Want To Know It
For those of you that are already picked up Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, you will know that it a fun game, save for a few camera problems that detract from the game a little. However, I have a couple of tips that may help fix (or a least improve) the camera. Note that I only have the Nintendo Wii version of the game, but I assume that the general features are the same for the XBox 360 and the ps3 (Sony Playstation 3).
- Firstly, go into the options menu and change the camera from ‘medium’ speed to ‘fast’ speed. This makes the camera a little more responsive and adaptive to your situation
- Secondly, do not (in any circumstance) use the stupid camera lock! The camera lock is purely awful. You walk about 2m from the enemy and it cuts out. Instead, fight bosses (who aren’t Jedi) by using dashes and jumps to get away from them and avoid their special moves. Then quickly turn around and use force lightning to gradually kill the enemy. This works really well on the rancors (which some reviewers say are nearly impossible to beat due to the camera). You can also use force grip/force push to hit the enemy with objects scattered around the place.
So that’s it. If you try these tips, drop me a comment and let me know if it worked for you (especially if you have the ps2, ps3 or xbox 360 versions of the game).
