Eagles are large birds of prey that can be found in the USA, Canada, Australia, Central America and South America. But what is a baby eagle called? This post will answer that question!

What is a Baby Eagle Called

Baby eagles are called eaglets. Female eagles lay 1 to 3 eggs at a time. Most eaglets are ready to leave the nest and go hunting when they are 4-6 months old. Baby eagles learn to fly when they are only 2 months old. The parents will stay together their entire lives and have more children when all the eaglets fly away and begin living in their own nests.
