So, do butterflies generally fly in the ocean? My mother recently passed, and as I was sitting on my cruise balcony, white butterfly after another in the middle of the ocean flew by. On the deck also-we asked one of the servers if this was usual, and he said he never saw this before.

I truly believe in signs, and believe those butterflies were my mother guiding us along.

However, DO butterflies generally fly out in the ocean like that.
