Batman is a fictional character created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger. Here is a list of all the actors who have played or voiced Batman in TV shows, films, cartoons and more.

Actors Who Have Played (or voiced) Batman:

• Lewis Wilson was the first man to play Batman. He starred in a 15 chapter serial simply called ‘Batman’. The serial was released in 1943.
• Robert Lowrey appeared as Batman in another 15 chapter serial ‘Batman and Robin’ released in 1949.
• Adam West appeared in the original television series ‘Batman’ as well as the first feature film starring Batman (also called- you guessed it- ‘Batman’). West also voiced Batman for the last two ‘Super Friends’ series and an episode of ‘Animaniacs’ (called ‘Boo Wonder’). He played Batman in the television show ‘Legends of the Superheroes’- a spin off from ‘Super Friends’. He voiced Batman for the television series ‘The New Adventures of Batman’.
• Michael Keaton starred in two Batman films- ‘Batman’ and ‘Batman Returns’.
• Dick Gautier played Batman in a Public Service Announcement about equal pay.
• Olan Soule voiced Batman in ‘The Batman/Superman Hour’, two episodes of ‘The New Scooby-Doo Movies’ and the first 5 series of ‘Super Friends’.
• Kevin Conroy voiced Batman in the animated feature film ‘Batman: Mask of the Phantasm’. He also voiced Batman for all the ‘DC Animated Universe’ series produced by Warner Brothers Animation.
• Val Kilmer starred as Batman in the 1995 film ‘Batman Forever’.
• George Clooney played Batman in the 1997 film ‘Batman and Robin’.
• Rino Romano has voiced Batman for the direct-to-DVD release ‘The Batman vs Dracula’ and the television series ‘The Batman’.
• Diedrich Bader voices Batman in the animated series ‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold’.
• Bruce Thomas appeared as Batman in a series of ‘OnStar’ commercials. He reprised the role for the 2002 TV series ‘Birds of Prey’.
• Jim Broadbent played Batman in ‘Spider-Plant Man’.
• Christian Bale has appeared as Batman in two feature films- ‘Batman Begins’ and ‘The Dark Knight’.
