  1. A long time ago I saw a movie I am sure featured Clint E. I don’t know how it happened but he played a man who came upon a female “community” in the middle of nowhere. He was kind of a bad guy in this film as he flirted and played girls against one another. Finally he was injured and while he was under they amputated his leg unnecessarily. Not a great movie but interesting to see Clint play a role like this. Do you know the title??

  2. What was the name of the movie where clint came upon the drunk colonel defending the river and all hell broke loose. The battle and the poor people always got to me. They all seemed doomed from the start?

  3. I remember seeing a movie as a teen I thought it was with clint eastwood and sissy spacek, about a woman who was bought from an open air market — she was naked and chained up with other women and the men were buying and selling things like animals and stuff… what was the name of that movie?

  4. I think the movie you are talking about is Prime Cut (1972). It didn’t star Clint Eastwood but Sissy Spackek appeared. The scene you are talking about what a controversial part of that film.

  5. what is the name of the movie where clint eastwood is a cop who gets mad when the sniper shoots a man in a field…I know this is vague but I cant remember a whole lot more…

  6. When I was a kid I saw a movie starring Clint Eastwood where he used what appeared to be a homemade four barrel rotating shotgun. Do you know what movie this is?

  7. I was just telling my 14 year old son this story:

My mom didn’t like going to the movies, but my dad did, basically to bond with me and see Clint in action. I was nine when Clint starred in “Every Which way but Loose”. These were pretty lean times; my dad worked 2 jobs and we would go to matinee’s on Saturday. When “Clyde the Orangutan” kissed Philo’s mom, my dad busted out laughing. He was the loudest one in the theater. He laughed so hard that he cried and had to clean his glasses. I realized at the age of nine that I had never REALLY heard him laugh. Up until then all I could remember was my mom yelling at him, and him barking orders and working 2 jobs. “Right turn Clyde”. It remains an endearing saying to he and I to this day, and we are closer than ever thanks to that day.
Thank you, Mr Eastwood After my dad, you are the greatest.

  8. In a movie he was an American solder or Airforce person found injured by Hungarian cowboys near a farm during World War 2 and was protected from being captured by German solders. Would like to know the name of the movie.so I might obtain it. Last time I saw it it was on PBS station a long time ago.

  9. Hello Mike (8) The movie where the sniper shoots a man in a field is ‘A perfect World’ starring Kevin Costner. Clint directs as well as having a supporting role. Great cinematography, well directed and pitch perfect performances from all the actors. Who could ask for more?

  10. Well I think that Clint Eastwood is the “Ultimate Actor”, so it’s hard for me to decide which movie would be my favorite, but some that top the list are “The Bridges of Madison County”, “Heartbreak Ridge”, All of the “Dirty Harry Series”, “In the Line of Fire”. Thunderbolt and Lightfoot was the first movie I saw with Clint Eastwood in it, needless to say he made a lasting impression.

@ #8 Mike…I think the movie you’re referring to is A Perfect World with Kevin Costner.

  11. I am now 60 years old, Clint Eastwood is my favoriite actor. It’s one thing to watch his movies but another to meet him in person. I was vacationing in Carmel, found his resort, Mission Ranch, I was taking photos of his property, comming back to my car was this tall skinny gray haired man and his manager Sue walking toward me, I knew it was Clint but didn’t know how to approach him. I asked his manager Sue what time it was, it was just a way of making first contact, then I told him I was a big fan of his, we talked for a few minutes got a phorto of him but forgot to get his signature. I had the latest copy of the Carmel magazine which has Clints picture on it. Dina Eastwood, his wife, had written an artical in the magazine. She talks about his charities, especially the one for veterans comming home from Iraq and Afghanistan. He is making a new film, also directing Beyonce’s new movie, “A Star is Born”. It’s a remake of Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford’s film. I wish I would have had that magazine with me, it was in my car. What’s the odds of meeting Clint Eastwood on his own property. Thanks Clint
