  • New Coke (or Coca Cola II) was launched in 1985. It was designed to replace the original Coca Cola. However, so many people liked the original flavor that the Coca Cola Company was forced to bring it back! New Coke was discontinued in 2002, although it is still available in Yap and American Samoa.
