Where do the Indiana Pacers Play

The Indiana Paceres are a professional basketball team founded in 1967. They were members of the American Basketball Association (ABA) before switching to the National Basketball Association (NBA) in 1976. They compete in the Eastern Division of the Central Conference. Although they were very successful in the ABA, with 3 titles in 4 years, since joining the NBA they have never won a championship. Where do the Indiana Pacers play?
The home arena of the Indiana Pacers is called the Conseco Fieldhouse, which is located in downtown Indianapolis. It was opened in 1999 at a cost of $183 million to replace Market Square Arena, which had been the Pacers home since 1974. The Conseco Fieldhouse currently seats 18,165 for basketball games and is ranked as one of the best arenas in the league. The Pacers share the stadium with the Indiana Fever (WNBA) and, occasionally, the Indiana Ice (USHL). It has also been used for other events such as college basketball, wrestling, bull riding, and even swimming championships.

Did you know?
Before 1974 the Pacers played at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum, now known as the Pepsi Coliseum. This stadium seats approximately 8,200 people. The Pacers played a pre-season game at the Pepsi Coliseum in 2008.
