Where is the Grand Canyon located?
The Grand Canyon was carved by the Colorado River, which might give you a clue to its location. The exact location of the canyon is in northern region of Arizona, which is a state located in the southwestern region of the United States. Most tourists visit the South Rim of the Grand Canyon because it is more accessible to the public, is open all year round and has more tourist facilities. Near the south rim is Tusayan, which is a small resort town with an airport just outside the National Park. The city of Flagstaff is a full service community and is located about a hour away from the South Rim. Flagstaff is a popular tourist stopover when visiting the Grand Canyon.
