Milla Jovovich is a celebrity actress who was born in the Ukraine, but moved to America with her family at a young age. She became a model just a few years later and landed her first professional modeling contract in 1988. Her mother pushed her to become a movie star and enrolled her in Professional Actors school in California. Her professional acting career also began in 1988, but her breakthrough didn’t come until 1997 with the hit movie “The Fifth Element.” She landed more roles after this success and has forged a successful career in science fiction and action films.
