The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial located in West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C. It is dedicated to Thomas Jefferson, who was the 3rd President of the United States, author of the Declaration of Independence, and one of the Founding Fathers. The memorial consists of a neoclassical portico, domed building, with engravings from Jefferson’s writings on the inside, and a statue of Jefferson. Work on the memorial was completed in 1943 and the statue was added in 1947. The Jefferson Memorial is classified as a U.S. National Memorial and is managed by the National Park Service. The Himalaya Range, also known as the Himalaya Mountains or simply Himalayas, is a well known mountain range in Asia. The Himalayan mountain range is about 2,400 km (1,500 mi) long and varies in width from 150 km (93 mi) to 400 km (250 mi). It is so large that it can be seen from space. It is also the highest mountain range in the world and is home to Mount Everest, which is the highest mountain in the world, and many other mountains over 7000 m in height. The National Football League (NFL) is the highest professional league of American Football (gridiron) in the world. It is made up of 32 teams from the United States that are divided into two conferences, with 4 divisions in each conference. The regular season lasts 17 games, after which 6 teams from each conference enter the playoffs.
